Welcome to the world Talia
Cathleen Gashler! Talia was born on April 2nd at 7:12 AM, she is
thriving on love from her big sister Jamie, and her mom and dad just
can't get enough of holding her all night long. (Not like we have a
choice in the matter...) We don't have any pictures of her up on the
pics page yet, so don't go looking, I will update this page when we do.

It's that time of year again! The time when we actually remember to update our website! Hurray *shouts and cheers!* Mike has decided that he is going to be a Linux-only person, so I haven't had all my spiffy easy update tools for putting up pictures online. Hopefully with the holiday, I can rewrite/port the thumnails program to linux. We shall see. Stay posted! We are all doing very well, and hope you are having a merry merry christmas.

UGH! It has been so long
since we have made any announcements! We are safely in our new house in
Orem, and have been working almost non-stop to get it in a
satisfactorally liveable state. We put in new carpet, re-wired most of
the electrical outlets, (only suffering 1 major explosion), and getting
our grandparents to bring down to us some antique furniture for the
kitchen and livingroom. We have been having a great time, and are
LOVING all the space. Mike is now working for a small research company
specialing in Educational Measurement, and will be starting his
master's degree from BYU in January. Desire' is keeping busy with the
little J, and she is quite the handful. A limitless source of energy
and excitement, Jamie is walking and just starting to test speech. She
walks around pointing at everything saying "this?" or "What's that?".
Her favorite things to say are "Meow" and "Whoof!". Sorry it has
been so long since we have updated the pictures. There are new pictures
of Jamie from Christmas,
and we will be getting those from the last 2 months up soon. We wish
you all a very Merry Christmas season, and best of luck in the new year.

We have an announcement to
make. We are moving to Utah this winter! We just made an offer on a
house, and it was accepted. We will be living in Orem. We visited
Utah over the 4th of July weekend, and took a lot of pictures of Jamie
and her new cousin Sage. Congratulations Becky and Phill. Ned and
Lynnie found out that they are expecting their first child some time in
March of next year. Congrats to them too! Well, we will be pretty busy
with trying to sell our old house and packing for the move over the
next couple of months, but I'll try to keep the website up to date.
Thanks to the Wilde's for putting up with us for a week and all our
family who baby-sat while we were down there. Bye for now.

Nothing much new, there
are some 5-month pictures up, and Jamie is learning to crawl. Her first
tooth broke through the gums today! Still an extremely happy baby, we
love having her.

Happy Easter everyone!
Jamie is 5 1/2 months now, and very cute. Her Aunt Becky is expecting
Jamie's first cousin in june! All of Jamie's grandparents have now had
the chance to see her. The Wilde family (Desire's parents) have a new

Jamie, at just over 3 1/2
months old was blessed by her father yesterday. She is chewing on toys
and rolled over onto her back for the first time. She is a very happy
baby, and has very loving family. Thanks to everyone who came and is
coming down to visit her.

Well, Jamie is another
month older. At two months she weighs 12 lbs and is 23 inches long. She
has just grown out of all her old clothes, and is starting to make
faces and laugh with us. She is very interested in everything we do.
(including the computer)

Our first daughter was
born on 10/24/2003 at 0:22am. She weighed 7 lbs 2 ounces and was
19 inches long. There's a few pictures in the pics section.
