Reflection

Tasked with making a physical set, and making interesting compositions from direct observation, my table and I decided on the theme of a whimsical tea party. For my part, I brought things I loved as a kid, Rubix's cubes, pillow pets, and origami. Translating light and form through cut paper was certainly a challenge, especially because we decided to add a bright purple light on the right side of our set. This project forced me to focus on big areas of color and shape. I learned a lot about color matching, and how to cut out precise shapes with an xacto knife.
