Reflection
What is a memory you can't quite remember? This is the question I was faced with while making this short film. I was inspired by the fear of death and my memories and feelings I have around this topic. I originally had a clear direction and a narrative planned, but after some reflection, I felt that it would be a disservice to the vague prompt and my own memory to take a direct approach. I instead tried creating shots that evoked the same feeling of dread and otherworldly emotions of my fading memories. The process of making, and my intuition took charge. This project compelled me to explore a new method of creating art, in letting the final product evolve in a more abstract way.
