Odell Miner says Provo City’s fall cleanup campaign will continue through Saturday – and that during the week city crews will pick up literally anything folks place at the curb for regular garbage pickups. That indicates a city – citizen partnership that can really produce results if all concerned catch the spirit of the project. Parks and Streets Department crews and equipment will join the Sanitation workers for the operation. The city has even offered to tow away old cars – provided the owners furnish a signed affidavit of clear title. Commissioner Miner indicated the spring cleanup was so successful that the city administration decided to sponsor the fall drive and make the two efforts annual occasions.
