Mr. and Mrs. Stanley P. Jones will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary at an open house to be hosted by their children Saturday, Nov. 26 at the Provo W0men’s Clubhouse. All family members and friends are invited to call from 3-6 p.m. They request no gifts.
The couple were married Nov. 24, 1938 in Provo, where they lived until moving to Orem 10 years ago. Mrs. Jones is a former staff member of The Daily Herald and Mr. Jones has been active in the gem and lapidary business for 30 years.
Their children are Douglas Jones, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Umberto (Jennie) Cerrito and Randy Jones, both Salt Lake City, and Laura L. Miner, Orem. They have 17 grandchildren.
